Three or four cask ales are usually on offer, as well as keg lagers and ciders. The real ales include:-

• - The award-winning bitter Timothy Taylor Landlord – one beer writer described Walter de Cantelupe’s Timothy Taylor as being ‘rarely found in such good condition outside of Yorkshire’ (The Independent, 17 August 2002)
• - A local beer, often from a micro-brewery
