The events at the Walter de Cantelupe Inn are of no ordinary sort. As you
can see from these events, there is something for everyone, and a few surprises,
too. Most of these events occur at least annually, if not more often.
Outdoor Paella Fiesta
Come and sample the zestful flavours from Southern Spain, cooked before your
very eyes in our own authentic, five-foot wide paella pan.
Balti Bonanza
A taste of the Indian sub-continent served up from - yep, you've guessed it -
the famous giant pan.
Malt whisky tasting
Led by an expert in the field, our guided tastings will introduce you to the
most characterful and unusual malt whiskies.
Cookery demonstrations
Forget Jamie Oliver. He's become a dinnerlady. Martin Lloyd-Morris trained as a
chef in France and worked at the London Hilton before founding the Walter de
Cantelupe Inn. Let him temper your tapinade and soften your souffle. Prepare to
be amazed and delighted (and no, he didn't write this website).
Beer elections
Three cheers for democracy! (Although, to be honest, we like the regular ales so
much they don't need to change very often.)
